Atlanta Renaissance…

this was a huge event for the artist in Atlanta and those based at City Of Ink.

On February 26th City of Ink celebrated their 9th anniversary with a special art viewing entitled “Atlanta Renaissance”.  The Atlanta Renaissance featured the work of over 80 artist viewable  on every inch of that two story building. The beauty of it was it was all for your viewing pleasure and purchase.

What made this night very special was it was also the grand opening of the new addition to COI the retail store “Dripping Stars”,  will carry original art on dope clothing. Dripping Stars is located right next door to the COI tattoo shop.

Owner and Artist Miya Bailey always wants to give back to the city that has supported him he opened up his private studio for the public to socialize and connect during the event.

There was a different Dj in all 3 buildings the music set the mood of the crowd, Walker street was all a buzz with beautiful people and positive vibes. See my photography below of the evening.

I really enjoyed myself and I plan on becoming a bit of a art collector myself.

COI is setting the bar for the Atlanta art scene and giving Black artist a platform to showcase and sell their work.
