BET boycotts new video by not airing it. Really??? You be the judge??

Now we admit that BET has taken its fair share of shoots in the past with BET uncut, and some other degrading videos on African American women, however they have gone just too far. The above video was recently boycotted by BET programming as being ” degrading to women”. Really, I know I saw on 106 and park “The Booty Do”, hmmm is this politics or the new payola?? You be the judge from our viewpoint, things look respectable. It paints a good picture of the song, the women are dressed nicely and the words are not rated R.
We will find an email or contact to petition this decision and see if our voices can be heard and get this quality video on air. We don’t have the best contact for BET but let’s try here see if this works.

BET is not the only outlet for your music videos. if you want to do something about that garbage of a network, protest it from being the shitstain it is.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this video. The song has more substance than most of what is currently on the radio. The video tells the story, he was a cheat, he got cheated on. Period. The end. It is a story, mere entertainment. BET needs to worry about little girls dancing to vulgar Lil Wayne songs during a pretend Michael Jackson dedicated event.

This must be fustrating to willy northpole. This pisses me off when real hip hop music tries to break out and go on BET. The network calls it degrading.
Now will they stay consistent with the rest of the videos they air? That’s the real question, if not, it’s gonna look like a “pay for play” situation. Which, is what it is anyway. The subject matter of the video is real. Artist have an array of chicks that they have agreements with. The girls look good in the video. Time will tell.

Your gone’a tell me a man that expresses sexing every girl their is and having under age girls dancing on the BET awards a “classic”? Someone at BET is not thinking right. It confuses me why BET won’t support a such a creative and talented artist.
The controversy will probably help this artist sell more in the long run anyway!

OK I don’t know what I was expecting but I liked the video It was clean , EVERYONE had there clothes on and there was a actual story line to the song . BET needs to go back to the drawing board and re-adjust the vision that once was black entertainment television . Are they interested in the artistry of story telling through music or half dressed girls shakin whatever can get them paid and boys dressed in men suits wanting to screw, suck, and lick everyone that they lust for…. and we wonder why STD’s and the HIV virus runs rapid in our community.
even though I dont agree with what he is saying in the song, the song has merit…there are people that live life like this in order for an artist to make such a song. Also, everyone is dressed and if u watch the video in its entirety, the #1 side chick ends up married and left him alone, so maybe theres a MORALE to the video!
Its politics, If Jay Z or Diddy did the same song, it would b in rotation every hour on the hour!
